Joshua 1:9 (NIV)
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
trust
/trəst/
noun
1.
firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.
"relations have to be built on trust"
I find myself in a tug of war with trusting God frequently. There are times when I win the tug easily, a slight pull because the evidence on my side is way stronger than the doubt on the other side of the robe, and it’s a no-brainer that I win.
Then there are the other times when past experiences, other people’s beliefs, and cautionary tales are heavy men pulling the rope with full force—shaking my trust in the Lord.
